re: Training Ohio
We you should always retrain to keep up to date on all state guidelines.
State regulations, as a matter of administrative law, are meant to provide structure to processes that impact all of Ohio's citizens. This training provides a necessary framework for prudent practice. It does, however, strike me as odd that public state assisted institutions would be exempt from such important training.
I implore managememt to take this seriously and provide EFFECTIVE training and time to KEEP your Agents at their best! It's the life blood of the institution.
I agree that it is important to retrain to stay up to date on state guidelines - because these can change at anytime.
A very astute point John. We must constantly strive to be on top of our game.
The career school industry is very coompetitive, being a learned agent helps differientate ourselves from the masses and helps build value to the school.
being updated in locations that allow us to offer programs in a must.
I don't think we can be our best without being updated constantly. Reading articles pertaining to a career choice, employment information, anything that may have to do with our jobs on a day to day basis. Like you said, our job is to help people change their lives.
I also agree that training sessions on update information is needed. This way we can ask questions and get immediate answers. I also think that this information should be provided in writing.
I agree John. We as agents or admissions reps have to stay up to date, or better yet, in front of information that we give to students in all states. We are playing a vital role in possibly changing someone's life, and should want to to do the best job possible in that role.
