Taking the time to becoming a better agent
Once you complete this training, you should find yourself being able to build from this foundation. Naturally being able to grow your business and become a very successful Agent/Admissions Rep.
I find it very helpful to learn and know what exactly is within our scope as being an admissions officer. Not only is it good to know completely about the institution you are with, but also how best to relay that information back to a prospective student in a way to best serve them. That's what it's all about, making their life better through what we can provide.
I agree with this statement because it promotes confidence in not only the agent, but the student as well. There are no short cuts to being a successful agent. You have to learn the material.
I agree with the statement. It is very important to always have a sense of urgency to always want to improve yourself and become knowledgeable at what you do. Education equals opportunity. As an admissions rep, you provide your potential student with an opportunity to better themselves through education. This should be considered a privilege and an honor!
I agree with Jeff, taking the time will make me a better agent
I once heard from a very intelligent man that you never stop learning. and that is true. we all can always evolve and learn more about our trade andthe people we service.
I think its always important to continue learning about your craft, example being a successful agent. Learning the Industry, constantly reading articles, news clippings, books, keeping your mind fresh with ideas to become a successful agent.
This is an area I strive to achieve every day. I often have to remind myself there is always more to learn including learning from others agents and/or Admissions Representatives. In putting forth the effort (meaning taking the time)to become a better Admission's Rep I not only help the potential students, families, peers, etc. but I learn new things that allow me to benefit as well.
I agree, this job is always changing and their is not one set way of doing it. It is important to know the rules and regulations so that you can act professionally and be ethical but the training modules, the cd's, the teammates, there is just so much learning and tweaking that can be done to improve how we enroll the students and get them to graduate.
Being knowlegeable about the rules, regulations and compliance issues as well program offerings at our local campus is imperative to being a successful agent
I have also learned quite a bit already in the first part of the training. I have worked in other areas of the school but have never done admissions. I thought I had a good grasp of the requirements, but am happy I am able to learn more.
This module brought to light some things I did not know too much about with the explanations provided. Also, gave some good tips about about reaching out to other departments for support.
