Referrals

Getting referrals in admissions not only helps the company, it shows that yoyu love what you do and keeps you on top of your product knowledge. How often do you discuss your job to others?

Constantly and effortlessly...Honestly the conversation always comes up in various ways in the fact that people are constantly talking about how they are not satisfied with their jobs or wishing that they would have remained in school. So must are not satisfied with where they are in life and being an Admissions rep this is prime time for Harrison to shine!

Strangely enough, I find that I discuss my job the most in line or while I am checking out at a store. Often, cashiers are not on a career path that satisfies them and it is easy to bring up work in conversation (need a sweater becase the AC at work is always on, shoes because I am on my feet a lot at work, because I need new work clothes, because I pack my lunch for work, because I keep candy on my desk and share with students at work...)

Hello, I've found that the more you like your job the more you want to talk about your career amongst family and friends. If you provide someone with a pleasureable experience, more than likely they will remember you and refer people to you to give them the same experience you shared with them.
