Creating a Notebook
Creating a notebook to help me stay organized with the different State Regulatory Agencies and up to date with current information will allow me to give the best possible service to any potential student I am assisting.
I agree that backing up what you say with written documentation is very important to those you are recruiting. It gives them the confidence to know what you are telling them is true. It is also important to keep the Resource Notebook up to date with Ohio's rules and regulations as well as your school's rules and regulations.
I can see that having the notebook will be helpful as there could be questions that I may forget because I am new. I always like to reinforce what I say with written documentation. It is always beneficial to revisit the material from time to time to ensure what I am saying is correct.
Creating a notebook really is a good idea as a rep no matter what kind of learner you are. The reason being is visual learners learn from writing things down and seeing it that way, but even if you are a different kind of learner no one can remember everything and having a notebook to reference back to to help service any and all students is something you will like to have to fall back on.
