The Admission Process and Paperwork

It is very important that you follow the admissions process so you stay within compliance. It is in your best interest of you and the prospective student to give the correct information so they are well informed of all of the right things.

I am also new to admissions (first day!). I want to know and understand all of the info so that I may inform the student correctly. I do not want to mispresent the school.

Staying within compliance is a the mission of the school that I work for which being a new employee makes it very clear of what is expected from all its employees. I can say that the students are at the center of everything.

Students truly appreciate it when you are direct and honest about everything about your college, and programs.

The paperwork can be time consuming...however, I believe it allows students to fully understand rules and obligations. The school I work for does a good job making sure that we understand all of the paperwork and that we help our students understand all of it as well. I feel good about not leaving anything out when enrolling students.

I'm happy to hear that as a new admissions representative you are having a positive experience and are being trained to be forthcoming and complete in the information that you provide. This helps the public perception all schools and that's a good thing!

I'm new to the Admissions Representative field. I've been impressed by my school's commitment to giving prospective students correct information and following the admissions process to the letter. Many students are making a life changing decision and it is our moral obligation to help them with relevant and clear information.
