Enrollment Agreement
Make sure enrollment is filled out completely and the student understands and signs the agreement. Make sure to give a copy to the student for their file. Enrollment agreements must contain certain information on them.
i think enrollment agreements are great. it outlines everything you may ask about. it is very important to give them a copy so they can refer back to it whenever they want. when the student signs the enrollment agreement they should know all the information they signed to.
I agree. The enrollment process is vital and we must ensure that all disclosures are in place so that the student understands the necessary requirements. This is a good start to building an encourgaing relationship with the student.
It is important for the student to understand each part that is outlined in the school's enrollment agreement. If you believe that there are key points that the student may look over or may not understand fully, as an Admissions Representative, you should take the time to go over each part with them so that they have a clear understanding. It is also important to point out key points so it doesn't create an issue down the road if something were to come up.
I agree I take my time with the student and go over each and every part of the contract. I ask the student if they have any questions that I can help them with. I go through all the rules and all the regulations so that the student does understand his or her rights and what they will be taking in school and how long they will be attending and what they can expect to pay for their education.
Always make copies. Protect yourself and the prospective student
It is easy to "brush over" this information, because students have gone through a long process at this point. However, it is our responsiblility to make sure that all points are understood.
Since our Enrollment Agreements are signed online it is imperative that the studnent is made aware that this form can be accessed and printed at any time.
I agree. I also don't let the student rush through the agreement just to get paperwork out of the way. They need to understand what they're signing and committing to.
I find often that once the student gets to the point of signing the Enrollment Agreement, they are about ready to go, but I find it important to explain to them what they are looking at. A lot of times you have to save people from being their own worst enemy.
Making sure the student understands the information, by asking them if they have questions/concerns you can address/answer.
Going through the enrollment agreement should be comfortable because all of the information in it should already have been covered. This is a chance to reconfirm the comitment the student has made, and the understanding of the actual agreement.
Reiterating the main points and vital info ensures nothing was missed and that the student has every chance to pose any question on an issue they may have.
