financial assistance
These rules and regulations are becoming more and more important in our work.....I am sure as time goes by we are going to have more and more changes to this part of our enrollment process also......thank goodness for the financial services department
Admissions and Financial Aid have to work very closely. Admissions representatives do not know enough about financial aid to go into detail and theredore rely on the financial aid department to explain it in depth to students.
Admissions and Financial Aid have to maintain a close professional bond and work as a team in order to be successful for the school, themselves and the students.
Teamwork! Staying on the same page with each other.
Having a good relationship with Finacial Aid is important.
The Admissions Department rely on the Financial Aid Department to explain in detail what will take place in their Financial Aid appointment.
Financial aid plays a critical role in helping our students make the correct/ final decision. It is imperative that they stay up-to-date on the recent changes, as well as, walk our students through understanding a process that can be confusing at times.
I always shy away from getting too in depth into financial aid. I direct students to our website for an overview of what paperwork is required and a link to FAFSA. Beyond that I always direct them to a financial aid administrator for questions.
I always wonder how they keep up with the rapid changes especially recently.
I agree. We rely on that department as its critical that things are explained properly during the appointment. It's an important role.
No kidding! Without Financial Services we'd be up a creek!
