Enrollment Agreement
While watching my colleagues explain the enrollment agreement to prospective students, I have found it is extremely important to cover each section thoroughly. There are often lots of opportunities for the student to ask questions while going over the agreement. It is an important communication tool.
Too many times agents try to rush past this part in hopes that they won't have to explain everything in detail, but they don't understand that this is the most important part of the enrollment process. If an agent tries to skip important pieces of the process, the student will most likely end up dropping regardless. It is much better to be honest and up front about every detail regarding the enrollment agreement on the front end of the process.
It is very important to cover each topic of the enrollment agreement. The enrollment agreement contains imperative information that will affect a prospective student's obligations. It is a legally binding contract, and as representatives we need to be clear and ensure that the prospective students are ready to make such a commitment.
It is extremely important that the student understands the enrollment agreement. It is an agent's responsibility to discuss all aspects of the enrollment agreement. Also, it is important that the agent addressses any concerns with the student and asks if they have any questions. It is important to build rapport with with student, not only so they they enroll, but so that they go through the entire process and start their education.
