Catalog
Reading and understanding the school's catalog is a vital part of the college experience. The catalog houses information about the college. It explains the policies, tuition and fees, enrollment dates, courses and any other item that pertains the college. It is a students responsibility to read the catalog and to use it as a reference guide.
I think that is one thing that can be easily overlooked. It should be explained to the student how important the content is and how it can impact them.
Garima,
I'm not sure what your school offers. At the school I work at, our catalog is all online. During the interview/enrollment process we give our students a business card included in their packet that has the website listed. We talk about what it is and what information they can find during the interview/enrollment process multiple times. Ultimately, it is up to the student to get online and look the information up more specifically.
IS IT COMPULSORY TO GIVE HARD COPY OR WE CAN GIVE SOFT COPY OF CATALOG TO THE STUDENT WHO FILL ADMISSION PACKET?
The student catalog provides information about the college. It explains the policies, tuition and fees, enrollment dates, courses and any other item that pertains the college.
This is an extremely improtant part of being an active and effective agent. Knowing the ins and outs of the school's catalog will help you be able to meet the student's needs more efficently.
