flyers?

Can you put flyers on car windshields?

I strongly agree. Leaving flyers is definitely a way of the past. Most people that find flyers on their windshield only throw them on the ground. Clear information is vital to getting the message across, and leaving flyers is not the most efficiant way to advertise an Educational facility.

I don't think we should actively place flyers out in public whether on vehicles or handing them out, but what if a prospective student were inquiring about the institution? What would be proper to hand to them?

I think we are getting to an age where print media is almost completely dead. When I see any type of flyer on my vehicle, im usually annoyed with whatever institution placed the flyer on my car. I believe this type of advertising will hurt institutions rather than help.

My institution only allows material approved by our school to be posted anywhere to prevent misinformation and use of materials in a way that our school would not want to be represented.

I agree, I don't and would not put flyers on windshields. I like to leave the marketing of the school upto the marketing department.

Can you? Yes. 'Should you' is the question.

The role of flyers in communication today can be argued as effective or ineffective. But a more important discussion than flyer effectiveness is what does a flyer left on my windshield communicate about the organization or company that left it there.

In today's world of text messaging and social networking, it is increasingly probable that a flyer on the windshield is more likely to be ignored than a demographically-specific advertisment on a site like Facebook or Twitter.

I agree and most people are turned off by this type of advertising and may have a negative view towards the school because of it.

i would not put flyers on windshields that seems a little tacky even going to the mall may over do it. allowing the institution to do the advertising i feel is the best option. after all that is what they are paid to do. us agents should not beat the pavement to recruit is should be done at a college fair
