This is my first experience as a new ADA. I am learning the tricks of the trade from my co-workers and reviewing all of our marketing materials.
Is there any specific marketing piece you tend to push more than others? And why?
Another good marketing piece is to reference success stories from your college. I have discovered that students love to hear true accounts of other students that have "made it" after going to this college.
I think it is great to be able to work for a school that you are really familiar with. You will have a lot in common with students and it will make the job a lot easier.
This is also my first job as an admissions rep however, i have found as I sit with the more experienced reps that its all about making the student comfortable in his or her choice. My job to make sure that I am supporting their decisions and helping them along the way.
I have it a little eaasier since I graduated from the college that I promote. I trully love the institution and what the students can gain while attending our program. If you did not graduate from the school you are marketing, then ask yourself this "why would I want to go there?" This will help you connect with your prospects. Good luck.
