Student Services
That topic was for intertesting it did touch on some things I was not aware of, it is good to know that the students have those services available to help them along the way.
Student Services are important for student reteintion. The department can be the face of the school to let students know that there is help and that the school cares about them.
I totally agree with you. Its helps the student to know that we will be there for them to help them once the graduate. Being able to offer them help with creating their resume, interviewing skills, and other services is s great help to them.
I feel it is important to promote Student Services- this gives the sturdent additional support and encouragement that may not be available to them.
I completely agree...I've hear ssc being called student success coaches as well and I like that benefit especially when talking with a student because after the rep's job is done ssc never rests until the student graduates and it really means a lot to a student to know that somebody always has their back and get support from the institution that they attend.
Student Services provide a main component to a students success. These services are an adjunct of the classroom and supply the important extra features, such as learning resources, tutoring, counseling and the like in order for the student to maximize their experience and success.
