Educational Programs

Having the opportunity to sit in on a class is such a great first hand experience that you can share with your student. By sitting in a class or two you will be able to provide a real experience that your student will benefit from. The benefit to the student is the accurace of information that you provide to them so in addition to sitting in on the class it would also be extremely benefial to speak with the instructor to gain additional insight on the expection of not only one class but the entire degree and what the student experience will look and feel like.

I read as much information about the programs that are offered and learn from the instructors as much as I can. When there is something I do not know I always know where to go when the question comes up.

By sitting in on classes Admissions Representatives will be better able to explain the classroom setting, class size, instructor teaching style, hands-on experience, and books used during the course. This will also make the Admissions Representative more reputable if he or she can say, "I actually sat in on this class, and this is what I experienced..."

I have sat down with each Program Director to discus what their programs offer. I have also been taken on a tour of the classroom with each Director to see the highlights of their classroom. I feel that I am very prepared to give a tour.

I agree going through the process of sitting in a class can help you see things from the students prospective. It helps you connect during the interview process if they express fear about going to school.
