A good way to keep up

I am new to this role and I was offered some great advice that I thought others could benefit from. I was struggling with how to learn each of the programs in order to better serve the students and someone on my team told me that a great way to sort everything out is to look at one program offered each week and learn as much as possible about that course in that week. That way you can slowly build a solid foundation of knowledge.

Flashcards and informational sheets will be very helpful to me; thanks for the advice! I am familiar with the basics of each of our programs, because both schools that I was associated with before had similar programs. I'm looking forward to learning what makes our programs unique.

I am also new to this position- just began my second week. This is great advice! Another thing that I think may help new agents learn about their school's programs would be to make a visual aid/chart and/or flash cards about each program to quiz oneself. I remember when I was in college, both the process of making flash cards and quizzing myself helped me learn the material to ace my exams. I think making flash cards and some type of visual aid would be very helpful to learn your school's programs and policies. Hope this helps!

I agree with this piece of advise. I was given "slips" of all our programs offered here and have been looking them over so I sound natural when discussing them with students. I think they find it impressive when you can tell them about the program, instructor, and job opportunities available off the top of your head.
