I believe that weekly meetings are a great way to keep your staff up to date. It gives each staff member a direction to take, whether they need to pick up the slack a bit or keep doing an outstanding job. I feel meet every week, even with a small agenda, is a great way as a Supervisor to keep on your staff.
Or school does weekly meetings to keep us abreast of any federal or state updates, as well as techniques to better serve our potential students. We also have training modules every few weeks to improve customer service, vocal tone, listening skills, as well as accurately representing our school within the regulation framework. Our weekly meetings also allow for participation and a question and answer forum.
Weekly meetings are certainly a great way to keep "in touch" with the changing rules and regualtions associated with our profession. It's also nice to have insight from other representatives should I have a question.
Weekly Meetings are an essential part of staying apprised of any new or recurring information that affects the school, employees, and prospective students. The meetings are a way to not only stay informed of current events, but they also serve as an internal buffer that allows co-workers to connect with each other on day to day operations, problems, suggestions, etc.
Weekly meetings are a great way to keep up to date on information. They can give admissions agents valuable information that will help them to succeed in their jobs and daily activities.
I learn so much in our daily meetings. In the morning, we are given words of encouragment. At the end of the day we reflect on ways to improve ourselves. I am very lucky to have such a knowledgable director who shares his wisdom.

Weekly meetings allow me to keep current with not only policies and procedures but allows me to get information which is beneficial to my student and therefore helps with my retention. Important information is often lost in general conversation but meeting weekly assures that the information is shared and everyone is up-to-date.
I continually learn from both my managers but my coworkers as well. My coworkers will bring up questions and situations that arose during the week and I continue to gain new perspective on compliance and "best practices".
I agree with the fact that weekly meetings are ways to keep up to date with information that you may or may not have know otherwise. I would also mention that Admissions and Financial aid should have meetings together if at all possible. These two departments should work together as a team to ensure that our students are recieving quality customer service, since both elements are essential in setting our students up for success.
I think that weekly meetings are a great way to update the admissions team on changes to programs, policies, and campus happenings. Team meetings also serve as a great way to share best practices and get advice amongst team members.
