Accredidation
Upon meeting program requirements, does a school have to pay money accredited?
I have had many people come into the college and ask if we are accredited. I think it does give people more of a peace of mind about the college.
yes the school does pay a fee.
Would you say that prospective students have more of a tendency to favor schools that are accredited over schools that are approved?
In addition to accredited schools paying fees for that recognition, would you say that the main difference between the two would be one has the ability to offer financial aid and the other (approved) typically does not?
Does holding the status of accreditation make the school better as opposed the the one that is approved only in status?

Yes the accrediting process is fee-based. The costs are generally significantly higher than the fees imposed by state licensing agencies.
