Compliance

Compliance, compliance, compliance! This is so important when dealing with an educational institution. Rules and regulations are put into place in order to avoid lawsuits, satisfy customers, and provide the best quality for your institution. It also creates a standardized framework for all employees so they can do their jobs effectively and efficiently in the most organization and compliant way as possible.

Compliance.... definitely the most important thing along with "doing what is right"

However the question that asks if (and I'm paraphrasing) "full disclosure is the primary focus of most regulatory bodies" could be argued. The Ohio Board's main purpose may be such, but an Accreditor will have emphasis not only on ethical disclosure but on academic rigor and a professional licensing body will lean all the heavier on student outcomes (vs pre-admissions processes)

Just a thought.

Compliance is an important issue in my position. Working heavily with documentation and student files, having the right paperwork and records is extremely important in terms of staying compliant with regulations.

i agree. Compliance is very important. You need to make sure that everybody is on the same page because if one person isn't, somebody couple potentially be made out to look like a liar and to look incompetent. It is also important to make sure that there is a solid foundation built for each employee hired in at the time of training to make sure it results in good compliance.

I completely agree from the perspective of having a standardized framework for all employees. When employees understand that compliance is there for their protection as well as that of the student, I believe agents will embrace compliance more. Rules and regulations can seem like a burden at times but re very necessary.

Compliance is very important. It is very important that an employee of an educational institution is compliant with all rules and regulations like you stated. They are representing the school and reputation in todays age is everything.
