Transfer Credits
It is always important to tell the student your school's tranfer credit policy. However, never speak for other schools and advise the student to contact the other school to check on it!
Great point. Some students are very informed and may ask about transfer credits right off the bat. If a student is wanting to transfer credits into a program at my school, I will have that student meet with the DOE and school registrar right away. Being up front and honest is the honest thing to do,
At the school I work for, we have to inform the prospect that transfer credits will be evaluated on a case by case basis for credits transferring into the school from other institutions.
I completely agree. I think it is important to remember NOT to speak in terms of guarantees or promises when it comes to a lot of the information an agent relays to a prospective student.
