Ongoing Training
Having Trainings and team building experiences will definitly help when having to understand the work we do...even if the school as a whole dont hold them the indiviual teams should. What are your thought?
Yes, we as admissions reps are part of the admissions team. We must communitate with, work with and be supportative of each team member. Team training and team building is an excellent way to do this.
Ongoing training is essential to keep up with the constant changeing industry.
Even a small college is going to have a few Admissions Representatives, and they need to function as a team. A group can only function as a team if they see themselves as a team. And so, yes, Niyia, team building experiences are important. Often the very act of being together--being in the trenches each day--is a team building experience in itself!
Team training is essential to the success of the entire school to be able to share updates and experience's to better serve the potential student with up to date and complete information.
We have weekly training sessions and admissions staff meetings which keep us focused, current, and refreshed!
