Staying Up To Date
How do you try and stay up to date with new policies and procedure? How often do you inquire about it? I'm curious to see if I should be looking each week? Each month? Every few months? When?

I would recommend a visit to the board website twice a month to see what changes or new pieces they have added.
This is a great suggestion. Many schools will send out operational updates via internal web portals, emails or electronic reports/newsletters that often include contacts and/or links for further questions or review.
Most schools will hold meetings once a week, daily, or monthly. Items such as this will typically come up during such meetings. Also, be sure to check your e-mails daily sometimes several times of day for any and all updates.
