I always refer a prospective student to the admissions rep. They are best equipped to answer questions. It is so important to not give a wrong or misleading answer to a prospetive student.
I also agree with this answer. If you are not sure of the correct answer, pointing the student in the right direction is the next best solution. As a rep, I do this often with financial aid questions.
No, I would get a little more info and get the student's contact info and follow up with them with an answer.
As a Rep., I also encouraging students to do their own research. If I can't answer a question accurately, I always feel comfortable letting the student know,...I also let them know that If I can't answer a question I will put them in contact with the proper person or resource.
I agree. I will often direct the student to a source, may it be a website or an individual in the Admissions department to get the best answer.

You answered correctly. We should not be answering questions in the high schools you do not know the answer to and referring them to their admissions representative is the best course of action. Many of their questions are answered in the admissions book they are given when they visit the school.
