Accreditation
May schools go through accreditation processes & annual processes which flips the whole school upside down. Unfortunately, it is something that must be done but many prospective students don't understand or even take the time to understand accreditation or the benefits that it can offers the students.
I would agree. Students also need to understand accreditation more thoroughly, beacuause there are many accreditation options out there, and the issues can be VERY confusing, even to someone experienced in education.
It's important for any institution to clearly show their credentials and accreditation status. A university staff member should be very knowledgeable of the facts of the school and confident in presenting those stats.
I always make sure my students know the importance of accreditation and that it means they will receive a great education and we are able to help with the financial aid process.
