Follow the regulations as outlined
By following exactly what you are required and supposed to do prior to enrolling a student, you do not have to worry whether or not you are misleading a prospective student.
i agree the guidlines make our jobs easier
I agree as well that following the guidelines makes our job easier, not just for our department but for other departments as well. I have work in another department where an admissions person was following the guidelines. It can make things uneasy on all the departments and the college as well, not to mention jeopardizing your job.

I agree Greg. The great thing about the regulations that you do have to follow ensures that everything for the student is done in their best interest. The guidelines are there to make our jobs easier.
