Diploma
One thing I didn't see discussed is the diploma mills and GED's for high schools also. If we don't recognize a local high school for their diploma or GED chances are it was obtained on line, especially if it is from an out of town school.
diplomas should only be issued if the student has completed all course work and passed finals and have all necessary vaccines and background checks
We have several on line diplomas and/or home-school diplomas. It takes real detective work to see if these are legitimate. Often a call to the state education department answers our question.

Good point. This is a big issue and it takes some investigative work to determine if some of the new online high schools are legitimate.
I too wish more focus had been on HS diploma mill identification.
