The best mentor I had was a teacher that was very professional and positive. She had no clue about what I was teaching. She encouraged me throughout the year and reminded me that mistakes were going to happen.

I used to have difficulty asking for help.  It's helpful to understand that you're not in it alone, and there are multiple support structures available.  My first teaching job did not have a mentor program, so I did seek out a mentor on my own.  It was extremely beneficial in navigating my first year.

I have a mentor and she has taught me so much my first year. We also have a CTE program and advisroy committe that does help the kids get jobs after graduation. This will be my first year as lead forthe CTE program so excited to learn and exlore.

There is a great need to Having an advisory committee helps with letting you know what their needs are and what they are seeing out there in the business and the changes to help build the curriculum.

The basic questions to be asked about the school were a good idea.  Also I like the advisory committee meetings, it would be great to get the local businesses involved in the school.  That would create so many opportunities.

I really liked the information about advisory councils and link to information about a book to purchase to assist in learning more about this area of responsibility/
