I'm highly going to advise that everyone that I work with take this traning for the simple fact that it can be difficult learning new people because some do not adapt to change. I've noticed the areas that were lacking instantly, and have given it some time since I am still new by adding what I feel and think would help improve the operation all together. Recommeding certain readings, and motivational daily quotes, etc shows that I am positive. On occassion, I was misunderstood for being defensive when I was just being open and true to who I am.

Thanks for sharing your ideas, Elizabeth. Having all team members involved in the solution is a great way to clear the air and create ownership for team members. Bringing the group together to determine a plan of action allows for clarification on the spot and assigning specific responsibilites to all parties involved. Great approach.

When a challenge comes up I think it is best to discuss among the group so no one feels left out. Then a plan needs to be set in place to overcome this, even if everyone does not agree.

That's great, Sara! Being aware of your differences often presents numerous opportunities to try something different. I'd love to hear how your team stretches itself to increase your ability to complete tasks.

I think that understanding the roles helped us identify what we are lacking. We need to be mindful of completing our tasks, not just starting new ideas. This will be difficult since our team is limited, but I think that with this knowledge we will be mindful to stretch ourselves. :)

Wonderful news Allan. It sounds as if you are already using your knowledge in key ways. Remember that a majority of one's success is making the choice to use new skills since it takes extra effort. Keep us all posted on your success!

I am a Gen X Implementer. I just hired 2 new Reps and I am still figuring them out. It's great to have this training now so I have a roadmap on how to implement projects once I find out their particular styles.

Melissa it is always great to see someone who has learned so much and is able to find application immediately. Congratulations on your continued success!

This was the most valuable information to me thus far, since team work is extremely important in my workplace because it allows us to accomplish more things. This information allowed me to place my teammates in roles and better understand our team dynamics. I am so proud that group trust has been established, however, I understand in the future how to react to the team players and consider their weaknesses or shortcomings as well as my own. For example I am a Shaper and clearly understand I can be argumentative and offensive. It has been difficult for me to relate to and work with a Plant on my team, however I now understand his great importance to our goal.
