Written communication is it dangerous?

Dear All,
What do you think about the written communication since it is the best way to documentation, how to be in the safe side especially when situation getting worse and blames goes to each others.
Thanks,
Abdul

Gina,

Great question! We believe there is an opportunity to use both. Perhaps you can start with a template to make sure you have all of the important points covered, and then add personalized touches so that it doesn't appear to be a "form email." What do yo think about this approach?

Elizabeth Wheeler

I completely agree Dr. Norris. Creating refined sentences and paragraphs that offer accurate information about the institution is the best way to go. It's fast and helps from being misunderstood.

Do you think automatic email letters work better than personal email notes?

Thanks for your post, Janet. Written commuication IS more permanent and unforgiving than other kinds of communication. Theat's why we suggest you take the opportunity to create refined sentences and paragraphs with accurate information that can be used over and over in your email communication. Great observation!

Dr. Jean Norris

If you are not 100% sure of the accuracy of what you are telling someone, you probably don't want to put it in writing.

Abdel halim,

Good point! Written communication definitely has its benefits. Can you think of a situation when written communication may not be the best choice?

Dr. Jean Norris
