Reading body langage is key. It can give you an idea where the mood of the conversation is going. Not to judge or assume to quick, but poor body language can lead to a poor conversation
It is very important because that way you can express your thoughts and feelings also because there are times that is the way that you can use to connect
Excellent awareness, Diana. Reading body language allows you to pick up on the subtle communication cues your student is sending. It can absolutely be helpful in knowing where you are at in the hierarchy and if you can proceed or move down to continue to build rapport.
The ability to read body language is emperative. It can help you determine where your conversation is going or if you should move back down the communication hierarchy and re-establish rapport or if they are paying attention to what you are saying.
