follow up call

what is the estimated time for a follow up call?

Nicole, Interesting! Thank you for posting. Not all students belong at our schools, you are correct. It's what you do with the ones that do qualify and are interested. What can you do to never lose that client?
Elizabeth Wheeler

and when you follow up- watch your tone. You prevent yourself from having another opportunity. One thing I have a hard time believing is "you can never lose a client. unless you stop" OR get a restraining order. We have to be realist .. we can't when them all, right?

This is my window too. Anymore is too much.

Jennifer, Thank you for sharing. What would you say in your voicemail?
Dr. Jean Norris

That could be leaving a voicemail or a student did not make there appointment.
Not making there appointment it should be like 10-15 after they did not show. leaving a voicemail it should be with in the next day of calling them back at a different time.

The 10-15 window is a common time frame for 'no show' follow up. Tell us more about what you say in your follow-up call? How do you continue to build the relationship and re-connect with that prospective student?

If we are talking about a no show, then we should follow up within a 10-15 minute window

A best practice related to follow-up calls is to establish a concrete date and time to follow up with student at the end of every campus visit or call. By establishing the next step before the end of the current visit or call, you can work with your student to come up with the best time for both of you. For the students who get away without an established next step, following up within 24 hours allows you the opportunity to talk to them while the campus visit/call is fresh in their mind and to answer any questions that might have come up since the visit or call.
