The Paul Revere of School Publicity

This is no east task when promoting your school via a myriad of social media outlets you may be required to promote within. I need to talk to teachers, admin reps, HR ... to identify great students to talk with and gave knowledge on to promote on the schools social media. (Among other events and functions the school conducts. Where does one start when all promotional material needs to be redesigned for consistence?
Is the material to the point and able to stand alone? Is this material all the a prospect student needs to educate his or herself on the benefits of our school and its courses? Where to start when we need to engage users on our social media outlets and so much other material needs consistency?

Jack,
Sounds like you have an Alumni Community - either formalized or informal. We agree, happy alumni are a great resource for getting more happy and successful students. It is critical to reoognize, honor, and engage alumni. They are your ambassadors. Those who have outstanding accomplishments can be recognized publicly and can generate great public relations for your school. Alumni can increase enrollments, retention, and placement. Susan

I would like to say that this topic helped me in deciding to use special students that deserve recognition to be part of our institutions new infomercials. Many felt blessed that we would pick them for such an honor. We also picked exceptional students to be stylists to help prepare those on camera. Needless to say, those students also thanked us for inviting them and thanked us for the experience in a real life function. I will be making it a ritual of sorts for out students to be involved in our institutions infomercials ... for experience, student goals, etc. Thanks again!

Jack,

Very good. Certainly this points to keeping all promotional materials simple and to the point. Also don't print too many or use media that is difficult to change. Social media and other promotional trends points to the need for flexibility. Thanks, Susan
