Evaluating Radio Placement

When considering radio placement, do you typically look to what other educational institutions in your market are doing with radio, or do you judge the use of radio on a case-by-case basis for your particular school? Please explain your position.

I think it's very important to pay attention to your competitions ads marketing ideas, obviously there's a reason why students are going to their school versus your school and having a one up on the other person is always a good thing.

I pay extra amount of time in what the competition is doing. A large part of being successful is developing something that is unique and remarkable compared to our competition. If you are running the same creative you will be lost. Standing out and developing something new will always keep you ahead of the competition. Hence why I monitor the other institutions on a regular basis.

We really pay very little attention to other school's campaigns.
