Comparison Calculator

How does the proposed comparison calculator work?

I agree, however it does help the students and parent figure out what meets their budget.

i think this is a great way for student to know what they can afford as well as there parents

sounds like it will be great for students

I ditto your comment...it is a wonderful tool....however the usuage is difficult.

I tried to use it as well, and found it rather difficult to utilize. On the contrary, I think it is a great concept! My hopes are that it does in fact become more user-friendly.

That is a great tool for students...

Is this going to be on our website?

This sounds like it will be a great tool for students.

This tool can be used by a student to compare and budget the loans they are thinking about taking out for their education. Primarily tackling the loan interest is definitely in the best interest of the student.
This is also handy for parents to calculate their expenses and incorporate their child's educational expenses. When a specific program is chosen then this tool can give a more accurate parameter to work out a budget. An "estimated budget" is easier said than done however, I feel more people should use this tool as a preventive measure to alleviate default and debt.
TT

In what manner will this tool be made available to students?

I actually went to the website and attempted to use the netprice calculator and I found it difficult to use. My only hope is that it becomes user friendly. It sounds like it could be a great tool for potential students.

Here are a couple of links to more detailed information on the net price calculator.
