No they are no longer allowed to...even students can no longer receive incentives for referrals etc...
The answer is no. Representatives are no longer able to receive bonuses effective July 1 2011.
It will no longer be permitted to allow compensation for students that successfully complete their program of choice.
I agree with you Maria. Thank you events and appreciation banquets are always in order for those who are teaching or are connected with the success of the these students. However, teaching just to get extra money is not the right attitude to have for being an example to our students.
Holly, you are right it is a conflict of interest. Educators sole purpose is to make education attainable for all students without an incentive. The only incentive should be what the students received...a quality education
This is no longer tolerated. This is part of the Safe Harbors which will be eliminated effective July 1, 2011.
My honest opinion, eliminating such incentives was a good approach to standing behind a schools values and mission based on if students receiving a quality education and having that feeling of being a number. School should be quality education never quantity.
This would be an area of conflict considering the fact that students may receive "extra support" from admissions to complete the Program of choice.
Kriss, I think you knew better to ask that question because you already knew. Good try though!
No! Admissions is only a portion of a successful student completion. Program instructors are key players in whether or not students complete a program, and I know that they don't receive any kind of bonus.
No, I do not think any employee in a teaching institution should receive any bonus for students succesful completion of the program. Their hard work should be recognize in some other ways such as "Thank you" events.
Absolutly not! This is part of the safe harbor that allows employees to make sure they do not recieve anything additional for students completing their program
Admissions Representatives are not to recieve any type of bonus for students that complete the program they choose. It is against the law
