I agree with Toni, FERPA is a safety mechanism and complying with FERPA's rules is for the best intrest and safety of our students.

I am glad to know that FERPA covers more of a wide area than just a name. For one, it is a safety mechanism. I would not want any of my personal information given out whether it be email address or a comment on class structure.
I found the section of FEPA very much lacking in content and examples. This topic is especially important for Program Directors and needed to be beefed up.
