Profit as apposed to non-profit
What are the sccrediting and reporting differences, or are their any?
In general, the high level of regulatory compliance under which private postsecondary sector institutions operate contibutes to a high level of accountability and integrity. For profit institutions come into the public limelight more often than the non-profit sector institutions. The 90/10 rule is one such difference.
Alexander ,
Agree - 90/10 monitoring is critical at the for-profit level and must be done throughout the year.
Sincerely,
Chyrl Ayers
90/10 compliance and retention are the two most important differences between profit and non-profit. Profit schools must make sure they monitor these issues daily, weekly, montly, and quartely to avoid not meeting standards. This requires alot of man hours and power to meet compliance each year in those areas.
