Audits can be rewarding

We at the branch schools provide information for audits, but do not participate directly. However it is very rewarding to get the results

I agree Richard. Although at my campus we are directly impacted by audits, it is always a learning opportunity; not only for Financial Aid but for the other departments as well.

Samuel,

I agree that audits can be a vvery benefical process for the campus. It is an opportunity for the staff to know what is expected and the results of their work. It is important that you approach each audit in an organized manner insuring that all student documents and fiscal records are available for review. It is critical that any issues discovered each year is resolved and does not become a repeated finding or this will exhibit a lack of urgency in resolving issues.

Sincerely, Chyrl

I have always felt that while audits can be stressful in their times of fault-finding and discussions that overall they provide nothing but help and further understanding to those who are maybe struggling or who are new to Financial Aid. Audits also help us to brush up on certain aspects that maybe we have forgotten over time.

Audits are rewarding because they let you know where you did a great job or where you need improvement. It just makes you more aware of the importance of what needs to be done to meet requirements.
