I love the idea regarding the students going to area companies to network while still in school. This will also help them get over their jitters about starting a new career and what to expect.

The major problem facing all grads is the jitters - the lack of confidence to get on with their lives and gain the self confidence needed to implement the job search and go to the interview! So it takes practice and more practice. And visits to places of work where you already have grads. All this points to the reasons for and benefit of alumni associations. Thanks, Susan
