I would suggest schools parter with their local workforce boards to assist with placement. There is no cost and they will provide recruitment services to match the job seeker with employers. This is a win-win for schools and another resource for graduates.

Interesting question.If the student is prepared in skills and the job search process then all it takes is one employer to hire the student. Externships work as a kind of extended interview and is a way highly prepared students also get jobs. The key is student preparation and employer expectation. Thanks, Susan
