What is the best approach in facilitating that all involved are doing their part to make an alumni association progressive?

I think roles and responsibilities should be outlined in the bylaws of the association, or in a project management outline if you develop the association from that angle. This way everyone knows what is expected of them and you can measure progress based on the tasks that were assigned to persons or departments.

You ask a good question. I'd ask the question - what do our alumni need and how can we meet that need? If you are providing something they are looking for, they'll choose to become involved. What are your thoughts on this?
