Having good work habit from the begining increasing your potencial to get a succes job. it's not only collecting paycheck, the students need to love working in the field.
That is an interesting perspective.
As we educate students on the workplace and the industry they have chosen we must make them aware that they may have to start at entry level positions in order to obtain their dream jobs.

What a great thing to focus on! They are indeed in a position as nurses to make a huge difference in people's lives. I myself will never forget the nurse who took care of me when I was hospitalized as a child. It is a critically important job on so many fronts.

After talking with many graduate nurses I have discovered that when they get past those first few days and weeks they realize that it's not about the paycheck, it's more important to feel that what they are doing is vitally important to the patient. I usually take the time to explain that nurses get great satisifaction out of meeting the needs of their patients and that they will have this same feeling of satisfaction.
Yes, in my career students have to like animals; otherwise, they can work in the field.
