Customer Service
Customer Service is a phrase that is used to describe the process of taking care of our customers in a positive manner.
I believe customer service is a number one priority that brings more students to our institution.
Jack, absolutely. When someone has a good experience, chances are they will tell their friends. With the use of social media, they could even tell their entire network. Customer service is critical now more than ever.

I totally agree. Having good customer service helps to attract new students, retain current students, and then get referrals from graduates. It is one of the most important aspects of our business.
There is no better PR than a happy graduate and providing exceptional customer service. Thanks Amber!
I agree! It is so important for our school to give students the best customer service. When we are able to do this the students pass on their wonderful experience to others and inspire them to want to come to our school as well.
It was noted slightly but I believe there has to be a more correct move in customer service and leave the "customer is always right" mode- and move towards " treat the customer so they always believe they are right". THe animosity that presents itself when you know the customer is wrong but you have treat it as though they are right is a disservice to you, your company and the customer- by giving the correct answers but having them build a relationship that treats them so they believe you are helping them is a better approach
Candis, this is so true. It sounds like you understand that customer service is so critical in any job and that by giving a positive first impression, you are starting to build rapport with your customers. I'm curious, who else, besides the public, could be considered your customer?
Dr. Jean Norris
Customer service is so very important and present in our everyday lives. When working with the public it is critical that our customers are taken care of in a positive manner. Your first impression of an employee is a lasting one and can make or break you.
Thank you for your contribution, Rocio. There's little doubt of the fundamental role customer service plays in higher education. I see that you believe that delivering quality customer service is a priority for you and your institution. What are some of the ways that you make sure this happens with your customer interactions?
