Recognizing you External Customer

For Our school, we have several site like, Clinics, Hospitals our students have a lots of hands of training, is very important to trained our students right so they become future employers.

Yes, I teach communication as part of the general education requirements at our school and I always stress the practical application of communicative theories. I try to illustrate how the interactions between students and prospective patients can be extremely important. Hence, it is important for students who are entering the medical field also be aware of their own external customers and the role they play in customer service.

I agree, I try to always tell them "don't make the same mistakes that I made" as a student.I want them to be better than me and learn from my mistakes.

Debbie, That sounds like a great plan. Do the students find this enjoyable?

In our program, the students are required a certain amount of volunteer hours to the community and underserved parts of the community. Both allow them to experience and learn hands on what it is like to work and werve external customers.

I always express to my students that I want them to be better than me. I want them to be my competition out in the world.

It's so true! Students are our future. :)

Gloria,
That is an excellent point you bring up. Thank you for sharing!
