Intervention
This is great information we are learning here. It can not only be used in the classroom but for outside the classroom as well. There have been some fantastic ideas presented here.
Rejandra, perhaps you could suggest that this information be included in new hire training.
You are right this is great informations. I only wish that I had been presented with this information earlier. It is truly a skill to build repoire with your students and be able to help them problem solve and redirect their thinking to have viable goals.
If there is an itervention put in place it will help with retention also. This information is really helpful and I got a great deal from it.

Clinical instructors can be very helpful. Off of the campus and in the clinical setting, in a more relaxed setting students will open up if they are comfortable with the instructor.
Good to hear, Aleesa. Is there anything specific that you plan to implement right away?
I agree - all of the information that is being presenting in this module can be applied both in and out of the classroom. Very Helpful!
I believe the literature is pretty universal that the earlier the intervention the more likely its success, Lynn. Of course, the trick is early identification, and a culture that is responsive.
True...most of the methods have been considered "tried and true"...they also have supporting research. I think the earlier you intervene...the better. You need to establish connections early on
