Intervention
I would like to know all resources available to students on my campus (Miramar, FL) and which department is resonpsiable for each aspect?
Having a website is not only productive but gives propeective students in what the college and programs are all about. Also returning student access to future courses or/ans new program which can be offeered
Good thought, Carla. What does it take to get a list of resources posted on the website?
I agree. A good school should have information on their website. I think people you work with might be better able to direct you to a specific department/or person who can address your student issues
I applaud your persistence, April, but would suggest that this information should be readily available and not require such a quest. Many people will simply walk away from the problem if the process becomes burdensome.
Depending on what I am looking for I would start with my colleagues, especially since I am a new employee. If they can't help me then I would go to my director. I would just work up the chain of command until I found what it was I was looking for. If its course materials such as books, I might first check the resource center to see if they have what I am looking for.
Not too much to ask. How will you find out and why isn't that information readily available?
