retention rate

How does your school maintain a high retention rate for evening students? And do you enroll evening students who are not going to use your placement services upon completion of their program?

Any idea why the mid shift students are a problem? What makes them different? Do they need different support services?

In our school the retention rate is high for evening students because most of them work and are paying for their education, it is the mid shift students where retention becomes a problem.

I think many people would agree with you, Frank, that evening students [who tend to be older] are more motivated. Are there any ways of sharing that motivation with the day students?

It is my opinion that the evening students are more motivated than others. They typically have full time employment and are looking for a career change.
I believe some of them already have a predetermined goal in mind with possible job sites already in place.

Keep the students motivated and learning
