Strong Communimication Channels
Students need to always feel the institution is strong in regards to all departments communicate and maintain a steady line of open communimication.
As an instructor, it is very important to develop and implement strong communication channels through out the academia enviornment between students, faculty and staff, as well as other resources which can benefit the student. Such entities as engrade, campus vue, an even simple email can go a long way when trying to establish a strong communication backing with your students.
I totally agree with you all departments need to work togeather as team and have continuity in what you say and I feel the key is consistancy
Immediate response to student concerns are an important factor in providing students with a sense of involvement in their own success track.
I think you are exactly right! Nothing worse than needing to know something and not having the person there to ask, or having to wait forever for someone to get back to you.
This represents a united front who's only purpose is to support the student
I totally agree with you, but this is not possible if there are no channels of open communication.
We can say we need more communication but the reality is that some employees and supervisors and either not available or too busy with an overload of work to communicate with their subordinates or peers for the matter.

Absolutely true. The trick is actually doing that! For some reason, the larger the institution, the more difficult that seems to be. Taking a personal approach by assisting students is always a great strategy.
