intelligent heart

There is a hidden center of energy inside us which could open a new door for us to face and to solve our problems. This heart is the center full of powers: power of thinking, power of passion, and power of willing. discovering our hidden heart would be a miracle in our life.
To help our students in opening this new door, we should first teach them to believe in themselves, and for making such a belief, we have to learn how to belive in themselves(our students). If we believe that they as human beings have such a hidden center, we could easily bring them up, and let their abilities grow and flourish.

Thanks, John

Letting students know that you were once where they are now can go a long way toward building the kind of relationship with students that allows one to demonstrate the intelligent heart.

It will be helpful to share some specific challenges you faced with your classes and ask them what they think might be the best way for someone to meet that challenge today. The few minutes you spend facilitating these types of discussions may pay off big time for some of your students who may not realize that others are in the same spot they are.

Some of our students are making life changes, not career changes. I relate my decision to move from a desk job to an automotive career and the impact it made not only financically but to my family life. I stress that although the road was trying at times, the amount of success I had was 10 fold over the struggle. Envision your goal, set a plan, and stay focused.

I also agree. The value of the intelligent heart, located in this hidden center of energy, is immense. Though some people have strong egos and self-assured belief in themselves, many have to struggle to find this valuable hidden center. The negativity of life tends to break people down to the point that sometimes an individual can find themselves as an immobile deer caught in head-lights. Helping a student through encouragement, helping them set realistic hopes and goals, and helping them realize that this center exists within themselves is a wonderful strength of the mind that can help them to conquer the many overwhelming materials and obstacles that they have to face in order to succeed.

Kiarash,

Great insightful post. We need to allow our students to find this center and build their confidence to match their abilities.
