On the very first day I start to develop an incite to which students have a knowledge of my course, either through their work experiences or through formal training. I ask those students to be "group" leaders and give me a hand mentoring some of the students that have no experience at all. I am always amazed how well the students interact. The leaders seem to appreciate my trust in them and the inexperienced students aren't affraid to ask questions that may seem basic to the rest of the class.
