It is very important to get familiarised with the atmosphere of learning and shool facilities especially for new learners.
What is required of the student, is important to discuss first day of orientation and making sure that there is a reason and what those requirements are, so sudents are wondering what is expected of me while they are here at Sanford Brown College

Do you think can present school policy and guidelines within a context of solutions to common problems and concerns? I think it is possible.

I feel strongly that orientation is not meant to tell them what to do/not do in class. Yes, the school policy and guidelines are important however we need to foster and continue their excitement that brought them in the door. Orientation should give them real tools to succeed and show them the solutions to common problems and concerns-not waiting for them to come up to say "oh, we have a department that can help you. Didn't you know?"
