Qualification Tools
When we use a Qualification Tools with a prospect do you think someone with a scores very high need the same attention of a very low scores on the self check?
Gail,
Having not seen the specific tool I expect it to be a pre-assessment at the time a students starts at the school. In that context it is more of a retention tool.

I am not understanding the concept" qualification tools". Does this refer to retention or mentoring?
sheila,
Best of luck. If you can make her see how far she has come and how close she is to achieving her goal that could help her to stay.

I have many intelligent scholastically students that perform well on tests but in life they are failing. Some of my single mothers have baby and baby father issues, sick babies, money issues, that make it difficult for them to continue. I have a student now who is almost finished and she is giving up on herself because of all of the drama from her kids father. I have a meeting with her to discuss resources and tutoring so she can finish.
Agreed, all require attention. The classroom and the field lab are two different assessment forums. I must add - My experience, the students who perform extremely well in class are the students who need more attention in lab
YULIET,
Yes, all students require attention. While the prospect may score high in the test that does not speak to how they will perform in class. Assessing how much attention a student needs should happen in the classroom.
